Development of uninterrupted communication solutions will be crucial for the setup of highly available smart sensor networks & gateways. Edge Computing and decentralised intelligence for IoT Data collection and processing will be applied for developing smart decision support mechanisms through analysis via artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
These solutions will be surely adaptable for acquiring and exchanging life-cycle data of manufacturing assets and tracking components, materials, and other logistics elements to improve the operational efficiency in EU manufacturing and supply chains (e.g. addressing and implementing the design criterias according to the industrial standards for Integration with digital design patterns & libraries and upcoming EU initiatives like the Digital Product Passport or the Manufacturing Data Spaces).
